The Community Relations Department focuses on providing links between the city's diverse community and city services. The department engages residents directly through numerous functions, including:

Communications Office  Promotes city of Fort Worth programs and services through media and public relations, publications, the city's Web site and events

Community Outreach Provides assistance and referrals for health, welfare and social services

Customer Service – Responds to residents’ inquiries and tracks requests

Enforcement Investigates complaints of discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodation

Neighborhood Office Facilitates neighborhood capacity building and assists residents by providing education and information about city services and programs

Early Childhood Matters –  Directs the Early Childhood Resource Centers program.

Disability Scholarship Awards
