TIF 4: Southside/Medical District

Purpose: TIF 4 (Southside) was created to promote new development and redevelopment of the Southside Medical District.

Established: Nov. 25, 1997 by City Council

Term: The term extends from 1998 until 2022. Currently, TIF 4 is capped at $60 million.

General: This TIF covers 1,400 acres and includes the Southside Medical District. It extends east of I-35 to Kentucky Avenue and is generally bounded to the north by I-30 and Vickery Boulevard and to the south by Allen Street and West Arlington Avenue. Mr. Joel Burns serves as the Chair of TIF 4. View the boundary map.
