RFQ: Design and Construction Administration Services for the Housing Finance Coporation (HFC) Terrell Heights Infill Project

Qualified Architects are invited to submit Statements of Qualification (SOQ) for the development of design documents for the new construction of single-family homes in the Terrell Heights Historic District for the HFC Terrell Heights Infill Project.  The project will consist of the new construction of eleven (11) single-family homes in the Terrell Heights Historic District.  Exterior designs must follow the Terrell Heights Historic Guidelines.

This project will be funded from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.  Architects must be experienced in single-family design and new construction administration services.

SOQs must be prepared in six copies using SF330, Part II (Architect-Engineer Qualifications) or equivalent and include information on the municipal experience of the A/E firm and project manager(s), examples of municipal projects, proposed consultants, references with names and telephone numbers, etc. The SOQ is limited to 30 pages maximum.

The six copies of the SOQs must be received by the Housing and Economic Development Department, 3rd Floor, City of Fort Worth located at 908 Monroe Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, not later than 4 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012.

• A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Housing and Economic Development Department, 3rd Floor, City of Fort Worth located at 908 Monroe Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.  Failure to attend the pre-bid conference will impact a potential vendor’s ability to submit a fully informed and competitive proposal.  Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged.  Unless otherwise noted, specifications may be obtained online at: www.fortworthtexas.gov
