Permit Center
The Transportation and Public Works Department’s Special Events and Street Permit Center issues permits for banners, neighborhood block parties and private parties, solicitation of funds at intersections, special events, runs, walks, filming, parades, valet parking operations, parking meter rental, parkway and utility construction, and temporary street use and lane closures.

For moving vans, dumpsters on the street, building maintenance, mobile healthcare units, catering trucks, etc. - Utility Construction and Repair
For private franchise utilities. Requires license and bond.
